  Mission Hill is the crown jewel of Kelowna in my opinion. When we have out of town guests, we always take them to Mission Hill even if they do not drink wine. The views from this winery are incredible, the buildings are beautifully constructed and have a very authentic mission style. (In California there are real missions, this has a similar style with a modern twist.) The grounds are immaculate. From the second you drive in the gate, there is a serene and peaceful feeling. This is a must see for any age and interest when coming to Kelowna.

  On Saturday July 27, 2017, a group of us went to Mission Hill Winery in Kelowna BC for a paid tour. The tour costed over $17 dollars per person and each participant would get to taste two wines in addition to a guided tour. To our dismay, the guide used the same glass for the tasting of one white and one red---both were low-end wine, without even providing any water to clean the glass. With due respect, it seemed that all they wanted to accomplish during the tour was to rush us through and move on to another group. We strongly felt that to the so-called the best winery in Canada, the wine tasting event was disrespectful to their guests and to the wine industry. At the end of the tour, we were given $5 coupon to shop in their store, yet we found out later on that the coupon was applicable to certain items only.
