  Chef Martin and wife Kristen, were an absolute joy to work with. We had them cater our wedding for 165 guests, on May 19th 2017. Throughout the entire process they were very helpful and easy to deal with. They have lots of experience, which was very helpful for first time wedding planners. They went above and beyond expectations, whether it was the food or the process as a whole. We had many compliments on how delicious the food was and how well it was presented. They also surprised us with a slideshow they made personally with photos from our wedding, that they took. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone whole heartedly. Love you guys!

  Chef Martin is a solid chef and quite the character. Our dinner party was about 10 people and his appetizers/ main courses and dessert did not disappoint any. He gave solid tips that will help improve my cooking technique (wife will be thankful!) and kept our party engaged throughout the whole process and then cleaned up when he was done feeding/ entertaining us! Quite the experience, I'd highly recommend him for any group get together where you want to socialize and share a few drinks and not have to worry about preparing a great meal for your guests.

  Hands down the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding! This chef takes BBQ to the next level. The brisket and pulled pork was so delicious that we were lining up for seconds. I even caught someone licking their plate!!! The chef and his team were also very organized and efficient, it's obvious that they're experienced professionals. If your planning a wedding in Kelowna or anywhere in the Okanagan and your looking for high quality food and service, I HIGHLY recommend you choose The Chef in Stead as your wedding caterer. Your guests will thank you for it!
